Become an Affiliate Partner for Parents, Children & Divorce in States other than Florida
Our program, Parents, Children & Divorce™, created by Nancy Porter-Thal MS LMHC CDM, has been successfully implemented in Florida and around the country. The classes have been presented by Community Colleges, School Boards through Adult Education, Cooperative Extension Services, and Court Mediation offices. Parents, Children and Divorce has also been successfully offered by organizations such as Big Brother and Big Sisters and Mental Health Associations
Parents, Children & Divorce Participant Workbooks:
- Are available in English or Spanish
- Content and/or cover may be customized for your State, Judicial Circuit, County or Agency.
- Include a step-by-step Facilitator's Guide
Parents, Children & Divorce facilitator guide is user friendly and and our student workbook is easy to understand. The class is experiential and personalized. There are many quizzes, role-plays and informational charts. A perforated page contains an evaluation form and a demographic questionnaire for completion by the participant.
Optional Services
We can assume some of the following day-to-day responsibilities of the program while allowing you to maintain your identity in the community:
- Register participants on a toll-free number.
- Answer most frequently asked questions.
- Screen for couples when courts mandate seperate attendance.
- Provide a class roster and a data base mail merge for student certificates.
- Develop, print and mail flyers to attorneys, mental health counselors, paralegals, mediators and clerks of court.
- Major Credit Cards accepted over the phone for participant payment.
Parents, Children & Divorce helps parents to:
- Recognize they will be in each other's lives forever.
- Separate personal conclicts from parental responsibilities.
- Look realistically at how mutually vital they are to their children.
- Be aware that it is expedient for themselves, and imperative for their children, to act respectfully to each other.
